About Us

For more than two decades, The Kill Devil Grill has been a beloved part of the Outer Banks dining scene. Since opening in 2002, Bill and Liz Tucker built the restaurant into a local institution known for its retro charm, warm hospitality, and creative takes on fresh seafood and American classics. What started as a small restaurant in Kill Devil Hills quickly became a favorite gathering place for locals and visitors alike—where great food, friendly faces, and a laid-back atmosphere are always on the menu.

Now, that same spirit is expanding beyond the restaurant with the launch of Kill Devil Catering.

Kill Devil Catering brings the familiar flavors, service, and personality people have come to love from The Kill Devil Grill directly to your event with an elevated touch. Whether you’re planning a coastal wedding, corporate gathering, rehearsal dinner, or backyard celebration with friends, our team delivers the same attention to detail and commitment to quality that has defined our restaurant for more than 20 years.

From family style and plated meals to hosted bar services, our team of experienced hospitality staff help create seamless, memorable events. For more casual celebrations, our Grill ‘Em All food truck brings the fun and flavor of KDG on the road—perfect for outdoor parties, festivals, and laid-back gatherings.

At Kill Devil Catering, we believe great events are built around great food and genuine hospitality where people can truly enjoy themselves. It’s the same philosophy that made The Kill Devil Grill a destination for so many years—and now we’re excited to bring that experience wherever the celebration takes you.
